GENERAL INFORMATION
The Computer Network Maintenance Training Stand is designed to provide hands-on skills in network installation, configuration, diagnostics, and security. Intended for use in vocational training centers and technical schools, it aligns with CompTIA Network+, A+, and Security+ competencies.
STAND STRUCTURE AND COMPONENTS
2.1. Networking and Cabling Module
− Simulation of 8 workstations using coaxial cable network (10Base2)
− Simulation of 8 workstations in star topology (10BaseT, RJ-45)
− Simulation of 8 workstations using Token Ring topology
− Hub and switch with integrated fault simulation system
− Token Ring hub with fault simulation functionality
− Power supply module for all network components
2.2. Cabling Practice System
− Network cable installation module with wall-mount setup
− Practice kit including RJ-45, RJ-11, and BNC connectors, cables, wall sockets, and conduit elements
− Cabling tools such as wire strippers, crimpers, and testers
2.3. Network Security Module
− Hands-on experiments with network protocols, authentication, VPNs, and firewalls
− Analysis of network attacks and defense methods: viruses, worms, intrusions
− Wireless security configuration including WPA, web filters, and IDS/IPS systems
− Data encryption, email protection, and secure communication
